8. Salty, Pickled, and Smoked Foods

There are some pickled and smoked foods in the market that contain preservatives named ‘nitrate.’ This preservative is one of the very few items that have a high cancer rate, and you should try to avoid this item at any cost. The reason behind it is that nitrate changes its chemical composition after entering our body and become dangerous to our natural state.

Smoked food sometimes absorbs a little amount of smoke that is used to cure them and very often contains a hazardous amount of tar. So, though these foods taste delicious, it is not wise to eat them too much.
